CAREER SERVICES & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
We proudly assist students and alumni in developing, evaluating, and/or implementing self-directed career, education, and employment decisions and plans.
Our mission is to help current SF State students and alumni have fulfilling careers. To this end, we partner with SF State faculty, staff and student organizations to assist students and alumni in defining career goals that are consistent with their interests, skills, values, and personalities; in mastering the job search skills that will enable them to pursue those goals effectively; and in connecting with employers whose industry specific expertise will help them translate their academic achievements into professional success.
We are committed to educating SF State students and alumni through the use of personalized services, resources, and information technology, thereby empowering them to make purposeful academic and career-related decisions with a view to becoming talented professionals. We provide first-rate service in a welcoming, respectful environment. We value and serve a diverse population needing career-related information and experience. We proactively create and maintain partnerships with employers, and with the SF State campus community.
